Philosophical Theory in Ethical Decision Making

1.The virtue ethics approach. Virtue ethics is currently one of three major approaches in normative ethics. It may, initially, be identified as the one that emphasizes the virtues, or moral character, in contrast to the approach which emphasizes duties or rules or that which emphasizes the consequences of actions. Using this approach, you can discipline yourself and even others.

2.Utilitarian approach. If corporations took the Utilitarian approach to their business practices the great good could be best served.

3.Fairness approach. Management rules and performance requirements should be fair for everyone.
Make your employee rules and performance requirements fair and equitable. Rewarding favored employees with unearned bonuses, salary, and perks costs the company money in lost sales and lowered staff morale. Having unfair standards is bad business as it adversely affects the business bottom line.

4.Common-good approach. Management has a common approach in any ways. For the company to be able to achieve success and to be famous.
